Our service to our community.
Chickasaw Food Pantry
Providing support to our local food pantry,
the Chickasaw County Food Pantry, has been a vital component of our school's community service projects. At different
times during the year, our students will be collecting items for the pantry. Thanks to our students and parents.
We
appreciate your support in our efforts to feed the hungry in our community.
“When I was hungry you
gave me to eat, when I was thirsty you gave me to drink.” Matthew 25:35-36
S.O.S.-Sharing Our Spirit
Sharing
Our Spirit is the theme of our service project for our parish. Students will be reaching out to those who are not able to
get out into the community much and would enjoy having a special connection with one of our classrooms. Students will be writing
letters, creating cards and seasonal crafts, and maybe even visiting their special someone throughout the school year.
Our service to the world.
We continue to correspond with our new friends at the Madonna School in Ghana West Africa by sending newsletters to them
about our school year.
This year students and staff filled ten boxes for the Rotary Project 'Children of the Dump'. Pictured with
students is local Rotarian Suellen Kolbet. Mrs. Kolbet came and shared with the students her pictures and a video about the
'Children of the Dump'.
